Короткий огляд (реферат): The integration of our county into the global educational and scientific space, along with the intensification of international relations, has contributed to expansion of labor market demands for highly qualified specialists in the field of medicine. Modern healthcare professionals are expected to exhibit responsibility, adaptability, independence, autonomy, as well as a willingness and a readiness to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for effective collaboration within the international community. The key component in meeting these expectations is proficiency in English as a means of intercultural communication. In line with contemporary requirements for the professional activities of healthcare specialists, participation in international programs and projects, the adoption best practices from colleagues in the European Union, and the ability to work with scientific literature published in English have become essential. Thus, the importance of development of practical foreign language skills for professional purposes among medical students is increasingly recognized.
