Abstract

A great impact to the development of diseases of adults and children is made by the state of the environment, which cannot be considered satisfactory in Ukraine as a result of a multifactor aggregate negative impact, including the consequences of the Chernobyl accident in 1986. The purpose was to study of the incidence of the children's population of Ukraine and the prevalence of circulatory system diseases in children from regions with radiological control areas (RCA) and other regions over the past 23 years in order to identify unfavorable trends and substantiate relevant measures for maintenance their health. Analysis of the incidence and prevalence of circulatory system diseases in children from different regions of Ukraine. The methods of statistical assessment, epidemiological analysis of materials from the Center for Medical Statistics of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine were used. Results.

The incidence of children with circulatory system diseases in Ukraine has increased by 78.4%, with an increase in the incidence rate both in regions with radiological monitoring areas and in other regions over the past 23 years. It should be noted that the growth rate of the incidence of circulatory system diseases exceeded 2.17 times the overall incidence rate of the child population. In children from regions with RCA, the increase in the incidence of circulatory system diseases over the past 23 years was+ 23.9% and was slightly lower than in children from regions without RCA+ 88.7%, with a national indicator of+ 78.4%.
