Development of a technique for pharmaceutical analysis by hplc of accompanung impurities in the isoquinolinum dibenzenesulfonate substance

Abstract

Atracurium is a medicine, a muscle relaxant, a quinoline derivative. It is possible to predict the processes of intramolecular condensation and formation of hydrogen bonds in the composition of pharmaceutical compositions of atracurium, since unprotected hydroxy, keto, and amino groups are present in the molecule. During the synthesis of Atracurium, side products of reactions, unacceptable impurities are formed, the presence of which is important in assessing the quality of its substance. The use of highly sensitive methods of instrumental analysis in the analysis of the atracurium substance allows detection and identification of accompanying substances and unacceptable impurities, which are not regulated by the Pharmacopoeia.
