Mastering a foreign language: psychological factors of success

Abstract

The coronavirus pandemic, which has engulfed the world since the beginning of 2020 and significantly disrupted the normal functioning of the entire education sector, has put higher education institutions in an adaptive and transformational challenge – the need to find alternative approaches to interacting with students in distance work. The organization of foreign language teaching in universities is associated with the need to solve certain problems of transition to Internet education, which was previously at all academic levels only a component of blended learning, helping to diversify traditional technologies, adapt existing teaching materials to new teaching conditions, to find attractive, effective methods and techniques of interaction in a psychologically comfortable, positive educational environment.
