Abstract

The healthcare industry is developing dynamically, actively introducing innovative approaches to the training of specialists of the second (master's) level of higher education in the specialty “Medicine”. Analyzing current trends in the field of medical education and its effectiveness, the authors of the article emphasize the expediency of introducing the elective discipline “Biogenic elements and their role in human life” for higher education students majoring in Medicine. Such an educational component contributes to the formation of critical thinking and provides conditions for the implementation of personalized learning trajectories.
