Методика спектрофотометричного визначення хлорталідону у таблетованій лікарській формі

Abstract

The thiazide-like diuretic chlorthalidone is well researched and effective in treating hypertension. It is characterized by long periods of excretion and half-life, which leads to a decrease in blood pressure even after the patient has finished taking it. It also provides a prolonged diuretic effect due to significant binding to carbonic anhydrase in red blood cells. It is quite safe in the treatment of hypertension and has a positive effect on the cardiovascular system. Therefore, there is a need for continuous quality control of chlorthalidone drugs and optimization of methods for its quantitative determination.
