All essential oils are labile and volatile compounds evaporate in the environment so they lose their biological effect [7]. A few methods are used to protect essential oil, for example, microencapsulation. Microencapsulation is usually a simple physical method and many excipients’ variations could be used [1,4,5]. The shell of microcapsules protects volatile compounds from oxidation, temperature, and moisture influence [2].
