| dc.description.abstract | The article is devoted to study of the ophthalmic manifestations in patients with IgG4-RD. We report a case of IgG4-related ophthalmic disease in a patient with periorbital and submandibular swelling associated with lymphadenopathy and dyspnea. Maxillofacial CT revealed enlargement of lacrimal and major salivary glands, mucosal thickening of paranasal sinuses, and involvement of extraocular muscles most severely affecting the lateral rectus muscle, with sparing of tendons. Diagnosis was confirmed by immunohistochemistry and elevated serum IgG4 levels. Treatment with glucocorticoids was recommended. | uk_UA |
