dc.description.abstract | The experience of more than half a century of antibiotics in the treatment of infectious diseases shows that the pathogenic microorganisms sooner or later develop mechanisms of resistance to drugs, both natural and semi-synthetic analogues. The resistance of pathogens to antimicrobials is increasing every year, reaching such a scale that many widely used drugs lose their value in the treatment of a number of infections. In this regard, the search for new producers of antibiotic agents active against pathogens remains an urgent task. A promising group of antibiotic-producing organisms are higher fungi. In sum, they exhibit antimicrobial activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, as well as fungi. Synthesis of antibiotics occurs at different times of cultivation, it should also be noted that antimicrobial synthesis is a strain trait, common among natural and agricultural strains. | uk_UA |
