Neuroborreliosis. Problems of diagnosis and treatment (case study)

Abstract

Lyme disease is now the most common natural focal disease in the territory of Ukraine, Russia and other CIS countries. Despite numerous studies, neuroborreliosis remains poorly understood, and a lot patients left without on-time diagnosis of infectologist . High morbidity, disability and frequent leteal outcome require very serious consideration to the problem of Lyme borreliosis, alertness and awareness of physicians of any profi le for diagnosis of Lyme borreliosis and preventing the development of severe forms of it.
